Little Free Libraries

5 sites in the O’Hair Park neighborhood promote easy access to reading materials for children of all ages. The summer reading series brings youth together for story time in O’Hair Park with guest readers.

Donations Accepted!

We ask that the books be in good condition. If the books are soft covered, that they be new or close to it. We are in special need of preschool books, but are grateful for donations for any age. Books can be dropped off at Corpus Christi Church located at 19800 Pembroke Detroit, MI 48219 Attention: Pat Tillery, Program Director.

What is a Little Free Library?

Little Free Libraries are small unlocked cabinets, permanently positioned on a post/structure within neighborhoods. They are designed to freely share books and encourage reading. For more information on the movement, check out http://littlefreelibrary.org
