SAYA (Summer Activities for Youth Achievement)
is a four-week day-long summer educational camp (Monday through Friday) serving youth in Northwest Detroit. It is will be offered at

(near the corner of McNichols and Grand River Ave)
State-certified teachers engage the youth learn a variety of academic subjects (Reading, Science, Religion, Math) and are engaged in physical activity through gym class and/or dancing. They eat a nutritious lunch, attend weekly field trips to different educational or fun activities, and are treated by a mobile dental clinic. They learn about the importance of staying physically active and effective nutrition strategies.
